Sixty - Four
Opposite to them, Meng Ying and Yun Lu burst into laughter, making Li Xiu feel even more embarrassed. Li Xiu's face, under the colorful lights of the bar, turned as colorful as the lights themselves.
After Su Hao finished speaking, she glanced briefly at Li Xiu's collarbone before looking away, ignoring her.
Fighting and kneeling.
These things are not meant to be boasted about.
However, when dealing with someone like Li Xiu, who openly causes trouble, one must be tough.
After sitting down, Li Xiu continued to fiddle with her hair, clearly trying to show off her tattoo to Su Hao.
Su Hao picked up her glass and spilled some of the drink beside her.
Without saying a word, the spill landed just at Li Xiu's feet, a perfect measure to indicate she was unwelcome. Feeling even more humiliated, Li Xiu stood up abruptly, took her glass, and left.
Once Li Xiu was gone.
The women in the booth became lively again. Meng Ying picked up a bottle of wine and poured a glass for Su Hao. Su Hao thanked her, and Meng Ying smiled, giving her a thumbs-up.
Yun Lu also grabbed Su Hao's arm and shook it, saying, "Impressive."
Su Hao smiled, took a sip of her drink.
Meng Ying asked, "What do you think about what she said?"
Su Hao put down her glass and said, "I used to think that the end of love was marriage."
"And now?"
Su Hao glanced at the group of people still causing a ruckus outside and said, "Now I realize there are so many paths in love."
Meng Ying laughed, leaning back with her arms crossed, "Yeah, that's right."
Yun Lu, being more innocent, blinked and then said, "No matter what, Haohao, you will be happy."
"Thank you." Su Hao clinked glasses with her.
Yun Lu then said, "If Zhou Yang wrongs you, we'll get him."
Su Hao replied, "I'll take action myself first."
"Hahaha," Yun Lu covered her mouth, laughing. Meng Ying raised her glass, "Come on, let's toast together."
The three of them clinked glasses. The men returned, and Zhou Yang, licking the wine off his lips, came up to Su Hao, lazily leaning on the table. Then, he bent down and kissed Su Hao's lips, pushing her back into the sofa. She frowned and pushed him away.
He slipped a hard card into her hand, holding her neck, his lips lingering near her neck, warm and smelling faintly of alcohol and tobacco.
Then, he whispered, "You’ve won."
Su Hao was taken aback, pushing him away forcefully and looking at the card.
First Prize.
Zhou Yang leaned on the table, smiling, and said, "In a few days, the prize will be revealed. Keep an eye on Liu Yan's WeChat Moments."
"Wow, Haohao, congratulations!" Yun Lu leaned in enviously to look at the card. Su Hao showed it to her, and Meng Ying, who had just pushed away Xu Dian, laughed and said to Su Hao, "Liu Yan's prizes are never simple."
Su Hao rubbed the card and said, "It's the first time I've ever won anything."
She flipped the card over, seeing the serial number from her drink printed on the back.
It really was hers.
"Keep it safe." Zhou Yang took the card, placed it in Su Hao's bag, and then leaned against the table, smiling at her. Su Hao sat on the sofa, noticing his slightly open collar and his flirtatious eyes, exuding the charm of a playboy. No wonder Li Xiu couldn't forget him and came specifically to provoke her.
Su Hao leaned back in her chair, meeting his gaze directly.
A second later, Su Hao slightly leaned forward, grabbing his collar. Zhou Yang was pulled down slightly by the force, and he raised his eyebrows. Su Hao's slender, fair fingers methodically undid his buttons. Zhou Yang looked down and was taken aback, feeling the delicate fingers moving around his collar.
His heart raced, and he couldn't help but grip her wrist.
Su Hao gently brushed his hand away. She undid three buttons, and Su Hao fastened one back up. The remaining two buttons were left open, not as wide, her fingertips lightly tracing along his collar.
Zhou Yang watched her, his eyes darkening a bit. From this angle, her own collar was also open, revealing the black V-neck dress she was wearing.
His fingers slid to her collar, lightly tugging at it, pulling it up slightly.
They both played with each other's collars.
Gentle, assertive, mutually engaging, yet pleasing.
On the stage.
The music changed to a softer melody. The two couples left the dance floor, leaving only the two of them behind. Zhou Yang pressed his forehead against Su Hao's, pinning her back against the sofa, their breaths mingling. Looking into her beautiful eyes, he whispered, "Do you want to go dance?"
"Dance? I’m not very good at it," Su Hao replied.
Her peripheral vision happened to catch a tall girl standing not far away, accompanied by another girl. The light suddenly hit that girl's face, and in that moment, Su Hao remembered vividly. She recognized her from the video Li Xiu had sent her—Zhou Yang’s ex-girlfriend.
The one who was said to be very pampered.
The one pursuing Zhou Yang.
The ex-girlfriend.
They were watching them, and both of them were striking, beautiful, like a blazing sun.
"I'll teach you," Zhou Yang said, wrapping his arms around Su Hao’s waist and leading her to the dance floor. They began dancing a very intimate social dance, closely pressed against each other. The man looked down at the woman, and the woman looked up, smiling. Su Hao did the same, but her steps were a bit awkward. Afraid of stepping on anyone, she looked down, and Zhou Yang lifted her chin, holding her tight, and said softly, "Just follow me."
They were closely pressed together.
Zhou Yang's large hand was on her waist, moving with the music. Su Hao’s skirt swayed, drifting through the air, and then fell back slightly. Zhou Yang tilted his head, his breath warm against her ear.
She was also pressed against his collar, the prominent Adam’s apple evident, the contours pronounced, and just a bit further was his collarbone.
Seeing his collarbone.
It reminded her of the tattoo, that clear "Z."
"Su Hao," his voice was low and husky.
"Mm."
She tilted her head slightly and gently kissed the prominent Adam’s apple in the darkness. Zhou Yang’s eyes darkened, his arm around her waist tightening. He chuckled, then spun them around. Su Hao realized they were now in a suite. She was momentarily stunned.
Zhou Yang pressed her against the wall, his palm against her waist.
He rested his forehead against hers, then kissed her brow, his clearly defined fingertips lifting her chin, kissing his way down. He even gave her nose a light nip, causing Su Hao to wince and open her eyes. Zhou Yang then covered her eyes again, and his lips lightly brushed hers.
He didn’t kiss deeply but teased her lips, one gentle touch at a time. Su Hao tilted her head back, instinctively kicking him, but Zhou Yang only smiled before kissing her thoroughly.
Kissing with intensity.
His fingertips moved, the sleeves falling away. He tilted his head and planted a kiss there.
Her skin was so pale.
The marks appeared quickly. Zhou Yang had never seen such quickly forming marks before; his eyes were dark as deep water. He bit her arm.
Su Hao felt some pain and pushed him away.
She then lowered her head, leaning into his embrace, and began kissing his collarbone. His collarbone was indeed quite sexy; a man like this was undeniably a handsome devil.
Zhou Yang raised his eyebrows.
At this moment, Su Hao shifted position, leaned close to his ear, and whispered, "I just saw Li Xiu and your ex-girlfriend."
Su Hao lifted her head, touched his face gently, and smiled tenderly, "You know everything about me, but I don’t know about your past. Shall we talk?"
Zhou Yang was stunned.
